Through the process of risk assessment, threats to the organization and its interests are identified and considered, and in relation to the ascertained levels of risk, adequate measures for their minimization and elimination are determined and prescribed. According to the conclusions of the risk assessment, security planning is carried out through the definition of procedural, operational and tactical actions in order to effectively treat identified threats to the entity’s property and operations.
